Embrace the Geekness

What Does Embrace the Geekness Mean?

"Embrace the Geekness". It's an odd name to be sure, and yet one which seems to fit my life and passions quite well. After returning from from Washington D.C. and the National History Day competition in 2012, I began researching topics for the next year. When my Dad found out what I was doing,  he remarked to me, "Dude. You're a geek!" I replied "I am not!" My Aunt, who was sitting in the room looked at me and said, "Justin, embrace the geekness." My life has been about embracing the geeky-ness of the things I enjoy, from reading anything I can get my hands on, to enjoying studying history, to finding fulfillment in talking to strangers about things they're upset about on their doorsteps. I've been blessed with these, albeit geeky, talents and passions. I look forward to what the Lord is going to do in the upcoming months and years with the gifts He's blessed me with.
